Westlakes Research Institute Registered offices of Westlakes Research Limited (also known as Westlakes Research Institute) an educational charity developing and delivering Higher Education and research in West Cumbria. WRI combines lecture and meeting rooms, exhibition facilities, teleconferencing and an information resources centre. Post-graduate students undertake training and research programmes. WRI also houses a Genetics research unit, combining laboratory and image analysis systems.
