During a flying visit to Cumbria in July, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Alistair Darling visited an offshore wind farm, toured nuclear sites, met with the West Cumbria Strategic Forum and found time to unveil a plaque to mark the arrival of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in their new HQ building on the Science Park.
