By Rail

If travelling by rail to the Westlakes Science & Technology Park, we recommend travelling to the Whitehaven Railway Station (WTH).

From Whitehaven, we are a 10 minute taxi or bus journey away. See below for more information on travelling by bus.

By Bus

There are bus stops for both directions (North and South) directly outside the main entrance to the Westlakes Science & Technology Park. The bus route number for the park, from both North and South, is Bus Route 30.

This route travels from:

Workington -> Lakes College -> Distington -> Whitehaven -> West Cumberland Hospital -> Westlakes Science & Technology Park ->
Bigrigg -> Egremont -> Thornhill

and the same in the reverse direction.

By Cycle

There is a cycle route running through the park itself which links to the National Cycle Network and the Coast to Coast. The route through the park can also be used as an alternative leg to the Coast to Coast. Please see the Park Plan for more information.
