Westlakes Science & Technology Park

Situated on the fringe of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, Westlakes Science & Technology Park provides a high quality working environment and, through its partners, is able to offer comprehensive Business Support services to organisations seeking new accommodation.

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) has a campus on the Science Park where it is delivering higher education courses and providing R&D support to business. Westlakes scientists have a national and international reputation in areas of Genetics, Epidemiology, Environmental Science and Policy Studies.

The Science Park is home to over 1450 staff in some 70 diverse businesses and organisations,
many providing support services to the Nuclear Industry.
